Tegnap nagy veszteség érte a Bodybuilding társadalmat,elhunyt Larry Scott az első Mr Olympia 1965
Több komoly testépítő cím megszerzése után (Mr. America, Mr.Universe) 1965-ben vele indult a Mr. Olympia versenyek karrierje, ő lett az első "arca" a versenynek, majd '66-ban megvédte a címét.
Híres bicepszei miatt róla nevezték el a prédikáló padot.
2010-ben Alzheimer-kórt diagnosztizáltak nála, ez okozta végül a halálát 2014 március 8-án. 75 éves volt

The Great Larry Scott RIP. A good friend...the 1st Mr. Olympia, one of my all time favorite from the old school has passed away... I tried calling Larry about an hour ago, I got NO RESPONSE only his voice maiL...a good reason why I did, my deepest condolences to his family, fans and friends. Larry was a true great & to this days, his arms are the most beautiful ever!!-:(
